So I missed this episode on TV because I dropped my phone in the toilet over the weekend (sober i swear) and so I was at the AT&T store taking care of that issue. But I did manage to catch the episode online and let me tell you...it isn't as good. Something about watching 24 on a TV just makes it all better.
RECAP:
This was a pretty solid episode. It started off with showing Jack being tortured. While watching this scene it became really obvious to me fairly quickly the Russians had NO idea how outmatched they were. It was almost embarrassing to watch. Jack is being shocked with high volts and is like "I'll humor him for a little bit before I destroy him. I'm trying to get some good karma today." So he kicks the shocker and sticks it to the Russian Amateur and knocks him unconscious. Then he escapes killing his "torturer" and shoots 2 guys through 2 separate windows. As Ronnie from Jersey Shore would say "One shot kid!!". Anyways, moving on. Jack eventually finds the head honcho and calls it in to CTU. Renee is very glad to hear from him (still hoping for some romance here 24 writers!!). Dana finally decides to tell her fiance about her past but is stopped when Hastings calls Ortiz into his office. I wonder what is going to happen when he finds out the truth about Dana. I think he is going to leave her. How could he be with someone who just directed 2 guys to steal from the cops?! So Jack gets the boss some immunity so he will start talking. He tells them where the nuclear rods are and he leads them to the correct location but the rods are not there. A gold cross is found at the scene and he realizes his son is the one who stole the rods. The episode ends with the Russian boss's son meeting with President Hassan's brother to transfer the rods.
Since I didn't see the episode on TV I missed the scenes for next week. I'll try to do that this week but for now I'll leave you with the....
