An hour of epic proportions!!

This episode was INSANE!!! So many things happened during this hour I was frantically typing notes throughout the episode. Before I dive into this episode I'm going to go over what happened last episode.

At the end of last episode Jack is still undercover and goes to meet up with Vladimir's boys to get information on the nuclear rods. But they try to kill Jack once the money has been transfered into their account. Once again Jack Bauer is underestimated and he kills two of the men and takes the last one hostage and has him lead him to Vladmir.

But this episode is when things really go down. The undercover mission is still going and Dana's ex-boyfriend Kevin and his friend are on their way to get the cash she told them about. They get to the location of the cash and find their way to the room where it is located.

Then Sergei and his son appear again. Until this episode I never understood the significance of him and why he kept appearing in the season with the exception that he had the nuclear rods in the beginning of the season. The reason he keeps appearing is revealed later in the episode. I guess you never doubt the writers of 24. Then Sergei receives a call from Vladmir and denies that he has access to the rods so Vladmir lays off. But Sergei doesn't like the fact that Vladmir calls and stops the transportation of the rods and sends some of his goons over to get Vladmir.

Dana's ex-boyfriend gets into a little trouble when he fails to leave the cash spot soon enough and gets caught by the guard. Kevin's friend beats the guard with a baseball bat and they flee the seen. I am looking forward to what happens with that next episode when Dana reveals her past to her fiance!

Then the most epic scene in the episode happens!! It starts off with Renee pushing Vladmir to keep calling people to try to get the Nuclear deal done. Vladmir then slaps Renee and punches her. Huge mistake on his part.

She goes into beast mode and stabs Vladmir RIGHT IN THE EYE!!! I was watching this with a bunch of people and everyone had the same reaction..."OHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!" So this obviously stuns him and he falls to the ground and she is wailing on him with the knife. Jack comes running in and tries to pull Renee off him and she has a reaction almost anyone would when you don't know who is grabbing at you and she accidently stabs Jack. But have no fear everyone...he's okay. One of Vladmir's goons comes running in and Jack goes all Asian Ninja on him and throws the knife placing it right in the guys neck. It was fatal.

Things start to get emotional at this point. And being a girl I still like to see a little romance in a show. Renee breaks down admitting to Jack she wasn't ready for something like this. And it is obvious to me that she still has feelings for him. I'm really hoping something happens between them along the lines. But who knows with this show a whole other woman could come into play. Maybe Audrey Raines will come back?!

At the end of this episode Jack hides Renee in a closet and sacrifices himself and goes with the Russians when Vladmir's goons get there. Renee is obviously upset when she finds out CTU has lost site of Jack.

SPECULATION ON NEXT WEEK:

I think next week is going to be nuts...AGAIN!! In the previews they showed Dana admitting some of her past to her fiance Cole Ortiz played by Freddie Prince Jr. Something to look at for us ladies!! Then of course we have to watch Jack be tortured by the Russians. It will be a weird sight for us since Jack is usually on the other end of that situation. But we all know they can do whatever torture they want to the man and he will survive because he is Jack Bauer and he is the man!! On a side note I would like to see a little more Chloe. Her role is being severely underutilized and I think that is why we are still dealing with this nuclear situation. If she was helping out we would already have the Nukes in our possession.
